Plaza Auto Auction is the largest evening sale in the Midwest offering over 450 cars every Wednesday at 6:30 PM. Plaza’s 5 – action packed lanes are filled with over 300 dealers from Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Missouri, Indiana and as far away as Mississippi and Mexico.

Plaza founded in 1963 by Bob & Norma Edelman is one of the longest operating auctions in the country and a member of the National Auto Auction Association for over 40 years.

In 2003 Norma Edelman sold Plaza Auto Auction to Mark Greb a veteran of the auction industry with over 18 years of experience beginning with then Anglo American Auto Auctions in 1988. 

Greb quickly put his plan in place by offering additional services, updating equipment and completely remodeling the whole auction which was completed in the fall of 2004.

Plaza Auto Auction is known throughout the Midwest for its great selection of cars and its award winning service. “When other sales around the Midwest do not have the car offering Plaza always does. We treat the dealers’ right whether they are buyers, sellers or both! The dealers know they are the key to both of our successes, not some fleet account or bank! We start the sale a 6:30 with our two consignment feature lanes and start up the other lanes shortly after,” Greb said.

“Our employees are the key to our service. We never use words that end with an “n’t”! We have spent the last 6 plus years learning and having a “can do” attitude; we find a way to get the job done” said Greb.
